A roleplay account of 
To the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic"
Take a ketone carbonyl and then react with hydrazine.
It forms a hydrazone, of course, and water leaves the scene.
An NH from the NH2, hydroxide will attack.
Resonance occurs and then the carbon grabs H back.
Glory, Glory, It's Wolff-Kischner!
Glory, Glory, It's Wolff-Kischner!
Glory, Glory, It's Wolff-Kischner!
Reduce the carbonyl and then the side-chain now is plain.
Hydroxide base is still present, it steals the last H plus.
Now add a little heat, the N2 leaves without a fuss.
The carbon gets a hydrogen producing an alkane.
Now the carbon chain is plain.
Glory, Glory, It's Wolff-Kischner!

I hope your time in the jungle has been going well thus far, and that settling into a new routine has not been too trying for you. It's been very odd for me, only getting one teacup instead of two, and finding all of my books where I left them rather than all over the room. Would you like me to send some with the next letter? I'm sure I could manage it. I don't imagine that the jungle is equipped with a library.

The current body count is five, along with one RED prisoner. I haven't quite gotten the whole story out of Maedik yet, but apparently a rogue RED Sniper had a few beers and decided to pick off as many BLUs as he could.
This included Noah. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised; I warned him, when we got into this, that we were still in the middle of a war and something like this could happen. I just assumed it would happen to me. He at least has enough battle experience to keep himself safe, so you would think... but apparently not.

... have gotten a whole lot better lately, in my opinion.
My plan went perfectly. I must say I'm actually somewhat surprised -- when I first conceived of it as a final alternative, I had thought I would never have to actually resort to it and so perhaps didn't think it through as much as I should have. And it it still worked.
What amazed me the most, however, was how Maedik reacted. I was expecting to be torn limb from limb, the first time -- but he gave me a kiss on the cheek. He's proud of me, he says. I suppose he should be. This is the first truly 'BLU' thing I've done. I wonder whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, considering th

I'm just in need of talking to somebody with an IQ-count, that doesn't want to stick needles in me, to make me MORE monstrous than I am already.

Ah, there was never a guarantee that I wouldn't stick needles in you. The only reason I don't is because you're very unlikely to react like a normal human and so testing on you would be pointless and a waste of my resources.
